10 Malaysia’s Best Managed Companies In 2023

Deloitte Malaysia announced the winners of its 2023 Malaysia Best Managed Companies award program which is in its third edition this year.

The award recognises 10 exceptional private businesses for their organisational success and contributions to their industry and the economy. To achieve this Best Managed Companies title, businesses undergo a rigorous assessment led by a panel of independent and multi-disciplinary judges. Applicants are evaluated based on four core pillars, namely strategy, capabilities and innovation, culture and commitment, as well as governance and financials.

This year, the prestigious award welcomes two new winners who have successfully qualified as a Best Managed company for the first time, along with eight companies who have qualified to maintain their Best Manage status year-on-year.

The 10 Malaysian winners join a global network of Best Managed Companies comprising more than 1,300 organisations from 45 countries across the Americas, Europe, and Asia Pacific. They have also been invited to join the annual Southeast Asia Best Managed Companies Regional Symposium and Gala Dinner 2023 in Bangkok, Thailand on 3 August 2023, for a night of celebration, networking, and marketplace recognition.

This year’s judges are YAM Tunku Ali Redhauddin ibni Tuanku Muhriz, Chairman of Taliworks; Datuk Syed Mohamed Syed Ibrahim, President and Chief Executive of Johor Corporation; Datuk Muhamad Umar Swift, Chief Executive Officer of Bursa Malaysia; Datuk Yvonne Chia, Chairman of Standard Chartered Bank Malaysia; and Datin Seri Sunita Rajakumar, Chairperson of Climate Governance Malaysia.
