Bursa Malaysia ended Monday’s (July 24) morning session mixed, in tandem with the mixed performance in regional markets.
At 12.30pm, the FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) rose 4.10 points to 1,417.62 from 1,413.52 at last Friday’s close.
The key index opened 0.84 of-a-point lower at 1,412.68 and moved between 1,412.38 and 1,418.34 throughout the session.
However, the broader market was negative as decliners outpaced advancers 489 to 313, while 381 counters were unchanged, 1,110 untraded and 16 others suspended.
Turnover stood at 1.87 billion units worth RM807.94 million.
