ARCHIDEX: Exsto Malaysia Crowned With Star Sustainability Award

Exsto Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. won the Sustainability Star Award in conjunction with the 22nd Edition of the Building and Interior Design Exhibition (ARCHIDEX) which was held at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Center (KLCC) for four days ending last Saturday.

The award was given to Exsto for having managed to produce the most sustainable product at the exhibition where its latest release Exstopod Plus has 98 percent recyclable content.

In addition, the product also has UL Green Certification where the product emits low chemicals and complies with the main chemical emission standards as a commitment to a healthier indoor environment.

Exstopod Plus is also safe to use because it is free from volatile organic compounds (VOC) and has an efficient ventilation system.
The selection was made by the organizers, C.I.S and the Archidex panel.

Managing Director, Exsto Malaysia, TS Yong said, his party felt lucky to have been chosen to win the Sustainability Star Award at the prestigious exhibition.

“We hope that society, especially consumers, will continue to realize how important sustainability is to our daily lives.

“We are also committed to continue producing green products in the market as a shared responsibility so that sustainable development can be maintained and the use of natural resources can be recycled.

“This is proven when Exsto Malaysia has adopted one tree this year at Taman Tugu. In addition, starting this August, RM100 will be contributed to Taman Tugu Conservation Fund for each privacy pod sold and the Adopt a Tree E-Certificate will be dedicated to the customer.

“Through this initiative, we intend to have a positive impact on the local ecosystem and contribute to the greater goal of environmental conservation,” he said in a statement here.

Exstopod Plus is the third generation product produced by Exsto Malaysia which is the first acoustic privacy pod in Malaysia.

Meanwhile, ARCHIDEX is a joint initiative between C.I.S and the Society of Architects Malaysia (PAM) which will be held under the Kuala Lumpur Architecture Festival (KLAF) as a business event that brings together architecture and building professional visitors and industry leaders from around the world in exhibitions and conference.
