Bursa Ends Morning Session Higher

Bursa Malaysia ended the morning trading session higher on Monday (July 31), supported by continuous gains in selected industrial products and services counters, amid positive regional market sentiment.

At 12.30pm, the FBM KLCI had risen by 4.06 points to 1,454.41, from 1,450.35 at last Friday’s close.

The key index opened 0.72 points higher at 1,451.07, and moved between that level and 1,459.62 throughout the morning session.

The broader market was positive, as gainers led losers 495 to 361, while 400 counters were unchanged, 1,048 untraded, and 53 others suspended.

Turnover stood at 1.87 billion units worth RM945.37 million.
