Sunsuria Berhad has announced the appointment of Mr. Tan Wee Bee as its new Group Chief Executive Officer effective 1 August. With the new appointment, Tan will be responsible to lead the organisation to greater heights as it continues to diversify its portfolio into education, healthcare, construction, and retail.
Tan brings a wealth of expertise and knowledge with over 26 years of international experience in the property development and construction industries, having held leadership positions at renowned companies.
He holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the State University of New York, Buffalo and a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Civil Engineering from the National University of Singapore (NUS). Commenting on his appointment, Mr. Tan expressed his excitement and zeal for this new role, stating, “It is an honour to be entrusted with the responsibility of leading Sunsuria Berhad, an organisation with a rich legacy of excellence. I thank the board for their vote of confidence, and I am excited to work with the passionate and talented team at Sunsuria and build upon the strong foundation laid by Tan Sri Datuk Ter Leong Yap.
