Kumpulan Kitacon Berhad has accepted a Letter of Award from KL-Kepong Country Homes Sdn. Bhd. for Main Building Works for a total contract sum of RM62.3 million.
The proposed construction and completion is for part of Bandar Seri Coalfields, Mukim Ijok, Kuala Selangor District, Selangor Darul Ehsan:-Precinct 6B1 consisting of 96 units of 2 storey cluster houses (min. 32’ X 65’) Type A1/A2, 16 units of 2 storey cluster houses (min. 32’ X 65’) Type A3/A4, 16 units of 2 storey cluster houses (min. 32’ X 65’) Type B1/B2, 1 unit of the guardhouse and 1 unit of TNB substation (double chamber)
The Contract will commence on 4 August 2023 and is to be completed within eighteen months from the commencement date. The group said the contract will not have any effect on the share capital and shareholding structure of Kumpulan Kitacon Berhad and is expected to contribute positively to the earnings and net assets per share of Kumpulan Kitacon Berhad for the financial years ending 31 December 2023 onwards until the expiry of the contract.
