Gentari, BMW Team Up For Greener Mobility, Renewable Energy In Malaysia

Gentari via its wholly-owned subsidiary, Gentari Green Mobility Sdn Bhd, has signed a MoU with BMW Malaysia to explore the implementation of green mobility services and solutions, as well as renewable energy deployment.

The signing ceremony held at the Mandarin Oriental, Kuala Lumpur was attended by Deputy CEO of Gentari & CEO of Green Mobility Sdn Bhd, Shah Yang Razalli and Hans de Visser, Managing Director of BMW Group Malaysia.

Gentari and BMW are actively collaborating on various EV-related initiatives in Malaysia, including installing EV charging infrastructure at facilities and dealerships, offering fleet solutions, value-added services for BMW EV owners, and deploying joint renewable energy infrastructure.

“Gentari’s capabilities in renewable energy will also help to establish a more comprehensive green electron value chain and together, we can pave the way for a greener and more sustainable future,” said Shah Yang Razalli, Deputy CEO of Gentari & CEO of Green Mobility Sdn Bhd.

Hans de Visser, Managing Director, BMW Group Malaysia, meanwhile, said, “I can already envision this partnership shaping the future mobility landscape of Malaysia, offering more solutions created through the means of sustainable development and circularity.”
