Yinson And RRJ Capital Allocate US$300 Million To Jointly Develop Energy Infrastructure Projects Globally

Yinson Holdings Berhad has entered into a collaboration agreement with global investment firm RRJ Capital to jointly develop energy infrastructure and technology projects globally, including through the provision of USD300 million in financing.

Transport Minister Anthony Loke who witnessed the signing event said, “From its humble roots in transport and logistics founded in Johor Bahru in 1984, Yinson has grown to become a top global player in offshore energy and is now leading the energy transition in Malaysia through their work in the electrification of the nation’s transportation system. Advancing towards a green transport ecosystem is one of the main thrusts of the National Transport Policy (“NTP”). We believe that participation of stakeholders from both the government and private sector, such as Yinson, is crucial to accelerate the implementation of low carbon mobility initiatives outlined within the NTP.”

Yinson Group Executive Chairman Mr Lim Han Weng said, “We are excited to partner with RRJ Capital in various technology-driven energy infrastructure projects that will help to drive economic development, improve lives and accelerate the region’s transition to a low carbon environment.
