Bursa Malaysia ended Monday’s (Aug 21) morning trading session mixed on weak buying momentum on the broader market.
At lunch break, the FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) added 1.72 points to 1,447.81 from 1,446.09 at last Friday’s closing.
The key index, which opened 0.6 of a point better at 1,446.69, moved between 1,445.10 and 1,449.86 throughout the session.
On the broader market, decliners outnumbered gainers 476 to 347, while 408 counters were unchanged, 1,125 untraded and 26 others suspended.
