YTL Confirms As Co Developer For RM4.5 Billion Waste To Energy Plant With KDEBWM

YTL Power International has confirmed media report that it is a co-developer with KDEB Waste Management Sdn Bhd for a proposed 2400 tonnes per day waste-to-energy plant in Selangor, with a gross generating capacity of 58 megawatts.

The proposed facility is said to be costing around RM4.5 billion and will be built in Rawang which is under the Selangor state jurisdiction. KDEBWM is a state-linked company under the Selangor state.
