The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) ended Tuesday’s (Aug 22) morning session slightly higher despite the weaker broader market.
At lunch break, the key index added 1.11 points to 1,451.68 from 1,450.57 at Monday’s closing.
The key index, which opened 0.3 of-a-point better at 1,450.87, moved between 1,449.19 and 1,456.40 throughout the session.
On the broader market, decliners surpassed gainers 432 to 348, while 430 counters were unchanged, 1,143 untraded and 13 others suspended.
