Hume Cement Industries has confirmed that its Group Managing Director Hugo Enrique Losada Barriola will be leaving the company effective 30 September citing personal reasons.
He joined the group as Managing Director in April 2018. Hugo is a trained engineer, and has over two decades of experience in strategic planning and manufacturing management in construction and heavy materials industries. He spent most of his career with CEMEX Group, a multi-national building materials company. There, he held senior positions across eight countries, including postings as Managing Director for CEMEX Thailand and Vice President of Strategic Planning and Administration for CEMEX Philippines.
