For the current financial quarter under review, YTL Corp revenue increased to RM9.09 billion as compared to RM6.15 billion, recorded in the preceding year’s corresponding quarter. Group profit before tax was RM1.36 billion representing an increase of RM927.9 million or 214.1% as compared to a profit of RM433.4 million recorded in the preceding year corresponding quarter.
For the current financial year under review, the Group revenue was at RM29.5 billion as compared to RM24.2 billion recorded in the preceding financial year ended 30 June 2022. Group profit before taxation for the current financial year stood at RM2.66 billion representing an increase of RM849.2 million or 46.7% as compared to a profit of RM1,818.4 million recorded in the preceding year.
The group recorded positive earnings and growth across all its segments except for telecommunications, water & sewage and property investment.
