AwanBiru Technology Berhad reported its fourth quarter and cumulative 12 months of the financial year ended June 30, 2023, in Q4 Awantec achieved a profit after taxation of RM0.1 million compared to a loss after tax of RM18,000 in the same period last year.
For the full year, the group recorded a net loss of RM6.3 million while revenue declined to RM39 million from RM90 million it recorded in 2022.
In a press statement, the group said its FY2023 gross profit margin improved and was contributed by the Talent segment as well as from the services in the Software and Services segment. Adding that it further substantiates that the transformation plan is effective and has started to positively impact the business results of the Group.
Despite the challenges faced during FY2023, Awantec achieved a profit in Q4 FY2023 and said it is confident that performance in FY2024 will improve as Awantec remains focused on strengthening its synergistic offerings within the Software & Services and Talent segment to continue driving growth for the Group.
