The Road Transport Department (JPJ) is opening bids for special registration numbers starting with the letter M followed by a number and ending again with the letter M, in conjunction with the 66th National Day celebration.

The Minister of Transport, Anthony Loke, said the bids will be opened from this Thursday through the Online Vehicle Registration Number Bidding System (JPJeBid).

“The special registration numbers in question is the index mark of the M prefix in front and the M suffix in the back, which is the M series (number) M.

“This special number index sign was chosen to carry the meaning and symbol of Merdeka Malaysia in conjunction with this year’s National Day celebration,” he said at a press conference, today (August 29).
