RGB Links With Political Funding, Firm Says Director Not Arrested

RGB International has clarified on the news report that the group was involved in using funds from its gambling operations to fund opposition party PN leader Dato Seri Hamzah Zainudin and that the CEO and its director have been arrested by MACC.

The Board of Directors issued a statement informing that RGBI’s Independent Non-Executive Director, Tan Sri Norazman Bin Hamidun was not arrested by the MACC and that its Managing Director, Dato’ Seri Chuah Kim Seah is currently on bail and giving his full cooperation with the investigation and the Company wishes to highlight that the investigation had been largely focused on his private business related to slot clubs.

It also stated that RGB’s involvement in this investigation is solely related to the sales of machines to Malaysia’s slot clubs.

RGB added that it will not condone any form of ”political funding” and that its company’s Directors have no link to any politician in the country.
