KPJ Healthcare New President Takes Office Together With CSO

KPJ Healthcare Berhad has announced the appointment of its new President/Managing Director, Chin Keat Chyuan who will assume office effective 1 September 2023.

Chin takes the helm from Puan Norhaizam Mohammad, who was the Officer In Charge of the Group since 5 September 2022, who will return back to her role as Chief Financial Officer. As announced on 22 June 2023, Chin is an industry leader with over two decades at Johnson & Johnson, bringing with him a wealth of industry experience and an exemplary track record to drive the growth and transformation at KPJ Healthcare.

Datuk Md Arif Bin Mahmood, Chairman of KPJ Healthcare said, “On behalf of the Group, I extend a warm welcome to Chin at KPJ Healthcare. I am confident, with his experience and building upon KPJ’s solid foundation, that Chin will be able to advance further our efforts to redefine the healthcare ecosystem. I also would like to thank Puan Norhaizam for her contributions and commitment during her tenure as the OIC.”

The Group is also pleased to announce the appointment of Michael Leddin as Chief Strategy Officer (“CSO”), effective 4 September 2023. With over 25 years of diverse healthcare experience across multiple countries, Michael has successfully driven many strategic initiatives in his various leadership roles, namely as Managing Director of VAMED Healthcare Services Sdn. Bhd., and Chief Information Officer of Prince Court Medical Centre.
