Ringgit Continues Uptrend Against U.S. Dollar

The ringgit continues its uptrend to open higher against the US dollar on Friday as the greenback traded in a cautious mode ahead of the US nonfarm payrolls (NFP) data for August to be released later, said an analyst.

At 9am, the local note stood at 4.6310/6360 against the US dollar from 4.6365/6405 at Wednesday’s close.
