ENGINEER & MARVEX 2023 Paves the Way for Regional Integration with ASEAN’s Most Innovative Technologies

The ENGINEER and MARVEX 2023 trade show is scheduled to take place 6 – 9 September 2023 at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre. This event jointly organised by The Institution of Engineers Malaysia (IEM), the Malaysian Air-conditioning and Refrigeration Association (MACRA), and C.I.S, aims to unite industry leaders from various sectors across the ASEAN region under the theme “The Business Gateway to ASEAN Engineering and ACMV & R.”

The event, which encompasses the second edition of ENGINEER (an event of IEM Convention) and MARVEX, will span four days to cover the three essential engineering pillars: M&E, C&S, and ACMV&R. Over 200 brands from more than 10 countries will be featured, creating a diverse and extensive platform for showcasing the latest engineering advancements and innovative technologies.

The programme includes Malaysia’s Largest Engineering Symposium and Conference, incorporating six symposiums under the IEM Convention and two concurrent conferences by ASHRAE Malaysia Chapter and Carrier. These sessions will cover a wide range of topics, from Digital Transformation and Advances in Structural Design to Smart Cities Engineering.

Building on the success of the previous year, this edition of ENGINEER and MARVEX is expected to attract around 10,000 engineering and allied professionals, government delegations, industry players, trade associations, business chambers, and local and international buyers. The event aims to facilitate the exchange of ideas, knowledge-sharing, and networking opportunities among industry players.

ENGINEER and MARVEX aims to be at the forefront of the ongoing transformation in the global business landscape by providing a platform for thought leaders to discuss and demonstrate effective ways businesses can adapt to technological and sustainability changes. Moreover, a dedicated ESG Zone will emphasise energy efficiency and climate change issues, raising awareness of sustainability practices. Visitors will have access to over 100 hours of presentations by more than 120 esteemed local and international speakers, offering insights and knowledge-sharing opportunities, where the various symposiums, conferences and talk sessions also offer registered Professional Engineers, Inspectors of Works and Contractors affiliated with BEM and CIDB the BEM CPD hours and CIDB CCD points.

With support from more than 30 establishments including ministries, regulatory bodies, and industry associations, ENGINEER and MARVEX promises to be an immersive experience for attendees to explore the integration of technology, sustainability, and engineering excellence.
