Green Waqaf Initiative’s “From Saplings to Forests” Event A Triumph

The highly anticipated event, “From Saplings to Forests,” which took place at the Graduate School of Business (GSB), Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia, concluded with resounding success.

This milestone event was officiated by YB Syahredzan Johan, Bangi MP, and centered around the enlightening forum titled “Harnessing the Power of Waqf for Environmental Conservation“. Also, the Green Waqaf Initiative is proud to announce its main sponsors, Bufflow Engineering Sdn. Bhd. and NanoMalaysia Berhad, whose support is instrumental in making this project a reality.

Event Highlights:

  1. Silent Forum: The heart of the event was the insightful forum, “Harnessing the Power of Waqf for Environmental Conservation” where headphones are used for better audio to enhance the audience’s experience.

2. Diverse Participation: The event witnessed an impressive turnout, with more than 100 participants from various backgrounds and fields of expertise, all united in their commitment to environmental conservation.

3. Influential Supporters: Notable influencers and advocates for environmental sustainability, including Auntie Purple, Bro Safuan, Ustaz Addien, Dayana Kemesky, Jeevasheny, and Bachelor of Malaysia, lent their support to the cause. Their presence helped amplify the message of the event to a broader audience.

4.Interactive Booths: To enrich the event experience, seven interactive booths were set up, offering engaging activities such as games, a photo booth, and sponsor booths. These activities provided participants with opportunities for learning, engagement, and networking.
