Fast Energy has informed that it appointed Leong Lup Yan as an executive director of the company with immediate effect.
He was on the Board of Jotech Metal Fabrication Industries Sdn Bhd in March 2018 as an Executive Director. In August 2021, he was appointed as an Independent Non-Executive Director of Sersol Berhad. Prior to admission as a member of the then Malaysian Association of Certified Public Accountants in 1995, he worked for KPMG, an international accounting firm from December 1989.
Leong is also a member of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants and the Malaysian Institute of Certified Public Accountants. He started as an Audit Assistant in KPMG and left as a Supervisor of KPMG Tax Services. Subsequently, he joined AIC Corporation Berhad as the Head of Internal Audit in 1996 and was appointed as Chief Financial Officer of Jotech Holdings Berhad in August 2000 and Globaltec Formation Berhad (GFB) in 2013.
He was later appointed as the Group Chief Operating Officer of the Precision Stamping Division of GFB in June 2015 and Chief Executive Officer of GuangDong Jotech Kong Yue Precision Industries Ltd.
