KLCI Slightly Lower As Rebound In Selected Heavyweights Helps Curb Loss

Bursa Malaysia was slightly lower at Wednesday’s noon break, with a rebound in selected heavyweights helping to curb further losses.

At 12.30pm, the FBM KLCI had fallen 1.13 points to 1,452.26, from 1,453.39 at Tuesday’s close. 

The index opened 6.36 points lower at 1,447.03, and moved between 1,444.81 and 1,452.83 during the morning session. 

On the broader market, decliners trumped gainers 423 versus 322, with 404 counters unchanged, and 1,185 untraded. 

Turnover stood at about 1.41 billion units worth RM900.30 million.
