August Records Second Highest Month For Cars Sold In Malaysia

Car sales in Malaysia for August rose 13% to 71,745 compared to July which recorded 63,676 according to data compiled by the Malaysian Automotive Association.

Total sales from January to August surged to 501,552 against the 449,289 achieved for the same period last year, August also had the second-highest volume delivered after March TIV of 78,849.

The association forecasts September sales to be similar to August as demand momentum continues from new launches and seasonal promotions.
