Juwai IQI has announced the appointment of Soma Sundram, the former CEO of the Malaysian Institute of Estate Agents
(MIEA), as its Strategic Advisor.
With a distinguished career that includes his five-year tenure as the first CEO of MIEA and a portfolio of successful leadership roles. Soma’s journey in the real estate world commenced in 1987, and his dedication to the industry led him to MIEA, where he has served in a variety of roles for more than 30 years. Besides being CEO, he also served as President from 2007 to 2009. At MIEA, he introduced the National Real Estate Awards. He is one of the industry’s most expert practitioners, and he single-handedly created the two-day NCC syllabus course module for BOVAEP and trained close to 200,000 real estate practitioners since 1987. He is also the founder and the Sec General of the Asean Real Estate Network Alliance (ARENA).
