MyEG Stops Taking Immigration Related Applications

MYEG announced that it has temporarily stopped accepting applications for Immigration related services with effect from 15 September 2023.

The service provider embroiled in the immigrant application controversy said that the stoppage is to allow the finalisation of the terms of the concession with the Government of Malaysia.

MYEG was recently quoted by a member of parliament for accepting applications and fees despite its contract expiring, however, the group had vehemently denied the claims saying that it had been operating under the contract terms.

With not completely halting the service, the group said any material information or developments pertaining to the resumption of the Immigration services as well as the extension, will be made in a timely manner.
