Bursa Malaysia has reprimanded Serba Dinamik Group Managing Director Dato Dr Mohd Abdul Karim and fined him RM15,000 for failing to give notice on his share disposal.
According to the Exchange, Dato’ Dr. Mohd Abdul Karim failed to give notice to the company secretary within 1 full market day after the disposal of his interest in 107,963,930 in Serba Dinamik shares to enable the company to immediately announce such notice including information on the disposal, the disposal was only announced 3 days later.
Based On Bursa guidelines, a director who wishes to deal in the listed securities of his own listed issuer (affected company) during a closed period must give notice of the dealing (which includes acquiring or disposing of securities or any interest in
securities) in writing to the company secretary of the affected company within 1 full market day after the dealing has occurred and the affected company must immediately announce such notice to the Exchange.
