The Ministry of Natural Resources, Environment and Climate Change has announced the call for submissions for the National Energy Award (NEA) 2024, aimed at recognizing outstanding sustainable energy initiatives and practices in Malaysia.
NEA 2024 offers a total of 18 awards spanning three categories: energy management, energy-efficient buildings, and renewable energy.
Eligible Malaysian companies, organisations, and individuals are encouraged to participate and showcase their achievements in sustainable energy practices.
Additionally, a dedicated category acknowledges the contributions of energy performance contracting projects, educational institutions, and financial institutions in providing sustainable energy financing solutions.
NEA 2024 not only supports the government’s efforts to promote sustainable energy but also allows winners to compete at the prestigious ASEAN Energy Awards (AEA) in late 2024.
