Shell Terminates Contract With Sapura Energy

Sapura Energy has informed that its 2020 contract award by Shell Eastern Petroleum to Sapura Offshore Sdn Bhd (Singapore Branch) a wholly owned subsidiary of SEB has now been terminated.

The contract was in respect of an Engineering, Procurement, Construction, and Installation job for the Single Buoy Mooring Pipeline Rejuvenation Phase II Project by Shell Eastern Petroleum (Pte) Ltd. which in 2023 was to be rescaled or descoped.

Since then Shell has decided to terminate the contract however, Sapura Energy said it is seeking advice from its external counsel and will continue to do so in its legal position
