Foxconn, Nvidia Building AI Factories Together

Foxconn Chairman Liu Young-way and Nvidia Corp CEO Jensen Huang said on Wednesday their companies were building artificial intelligence (AI) factories together.

The two made the comment on stage together at Foxconn’s annual Tech Day in Taipei.

The news also comes against the backdrop of the US clamping down on AI chipset sales to China on concerns of military use, the Biden administration issued a statement ordering Nvidia to stop all high-level processor sales to certain countries that could jeopardise its own position in the world.
