Sime Darby Plantation Berhad board approved the declaration of a special interim dividend of 5.70 sen per ordinary share of the Company in respect of the financial year ending 31 December 2023.
The dividend was declared following the successful completion of the disposals of the Group’s equity interest in PT Ladangrumpun Suburabadi and PT Sajang Heulang, and three parcels of freehold land located in Mukim Kapar, District of Klang, Selangor. We refer to the announcements on completion of these disposals dated 31 July 2023 and 23 August 2023, respectively.
The entitlement and payment dates of the Special Interim Dividend have been fixed on 27 December 2023 and 24 January 2024, respectively.
