A package of economic measures Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida’s government is compiling will likely come to about 17 trillion yen ($112.15 billion) in size, the Asahi Shimbun reported on Wednesday.

Kishida said last week his government hoped to compile the package to cushion the economic blow from rising inflation on Nov. 2, according to Reuters.
