Bursa Malaysia finished the morning session higher on Monday, following Wall Street’s positive close last Friday.
At 12.30pm, the FBM KLCI had increased 0.76%, or 11.04 points, to 1,460.97, from last Friday’s close at 1,449.93.
The benchmark index opened 2.46 points firmer at 1,452.39, and moved between 1,452.29 and 1,462.27 throughout the morning session.
In the broader market, gainers outpaced decliners 491 to 310, while 410 counters were unchanged, 1,140 untraded, and 22 suspended.
