Sabah Ports Sdn Bhd, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Suria Capital Holdings Berhad, announced the successful handling of special cargo shipments in recent weeks at Sapangar Bay Container Port.
The container port which through a special arrangement has efficiently managed a series of notable cargo consignments, underscoring its capabilities to handle diverse and sizable volumes of goods.
This time around clearing cargoes of more than 60 metric tons each in weight and transported out using special equipment called Self Propelled Modular Transporter (SPMT).
The successful handling of these shipments speaks to the container port’s versatility and capability in managing various cargo types.
The port is anticipating a larger shipment in the near future and this is a testament to the port’s reliability and capacity to meet the demands of a dynamic and growing industry.
