Samaiden Big Winner At Energy Commission’s Final CGPP Award

Samaiden Group Berhad made a significant win in the latest Corporate Green Power Programme which was announced by the Energy Commission.

The solar company has been awarded an individual export capacity of 13.42 megawatts and in a synergistic consortium with Premier Supreme, it has additionally secured a substantial quota of 29.90 MWac, bringing the total to an impressive 43.32 MWac.

The EC’s rigorous selection process has identified Samaiden among 10 successful candidates from a competitive pool of 46 applicants. The second batch of awardees will share a combined export capacity of 236.58 MWac.

As the CGPP progresses, Samaiden is poised to commence its operations in alignment with the targeted commercial operation date in 2025. This project is not just a step towards achieving Samaiden’s vision for a sustainable future which embedded in their 5 years strategic roadmap but is also a reflection of Malaysia’s growing commitment to combating climate change and bolstering the utilisation of green energy.
