Halcyon Agri Partners With Solarvest For 2.5 MWp Rooftop Solar Project In Perak

Solarvest Holdings Bhd has secured a contract with Hevea KB Sdn Bhd, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Halcyon Agri Corporation Limited (“Halcyon Agri”), a global natural rubber supply chain manager listed on the Singapore Exchange, to install 2.5 megawatt-peak (MWp) rooftop solar photovoltaic (PV) system at its factory in Chemor, Perak.

Solarvest serves as the engineering, procurement, construction, and commission (“EPCC”) provider for the installation of the rooftop solar PV system.

The rooftop solar PV system is expected to generate 2.5 MWp of clean energy for Hevea KB’s own consumption, thereby reducing dependence on the power grid and minimising its carbon footprint.

Previously, Halcyon Agri collaborated with Solarvest in another solar project involving their subsidiary, Euroma Rubber Industries Sdn Bhd in Kulim, Kedah.
