Cabinet Reshuffle Still In Question

The question of the cabinet reshuffle in the Unity Government led by Prime Minister, Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim who is one year old is still unresolved.

The Bernama reporter who asked Anwar if there will be a cabinet reshuffle next January did not get the answer he wanted to unravel the question when met after the Thanksgiving Ceremony in conjunction with the One Year Civilian Government Administration yesterday (Nov 24).

“Why January, not December?,” Anwar said jokingly and walked away without further comment.

Rumors about the Cabinet reshuffle came into focus following the vacant portfolio of Minister of Trade and Cost of Living left by Datuk Seri Salahuddin Ayub who died on 23 July last.

The position of Minister of Domestic Trade and Cost of Living is currently held by Acting Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department (Sabah, Sarawak Affairs and Special Duties) Datuk Armizan Mohd Ali.
