Tomei Consolidated Berhad has announced that the license agreement with De Beers Diamond Jewellers Ltd will be ending on 10 December 2023.
The group became an exclusive retail distributor for De Beers diamonds in Malaysia back in 2013, under the license agreement, Tomei was also granted the option to set up and operate De Beers retail outlets in Singapore, Indonesia, Thailand, and Vietnam.
Tomei managing director Datuk Ng Yih Pyng said, “Our agreement with De Beers has been a pleasant and cohesive experience throughout the tenure of our relationship. Our license agreement with De Beers represents an important aspect of Tomei’s position and strength in the jewellery retail industry.
