Datuk Johari Bin Abdul Ghani who was sworn in today (12.12) as the Minister of Plantation and Commodity has also announced his resignation as Chairman of CI Holdings with immediate effect.
He was appointed to the board in 2019 and holds approximately 32% share in the group which is mainly involved in packaging and manufacturing edible oil namely palm oil based. Other areas include manufacturing and trading of water taps and plumbing accessories.
Datuk Johari is also a substantial shareholder in KUB, Media Prima and MyNews all public listed companies.
