Malaysia To Use Indonesian Pesticide Reduction Product For Local Rice Fields

Indonesian based, Pandawa Agri Indonesia an agricultural company with pesticide reductant innovation, has announced a strategic collaboration with NAFAS Agri Services Sdn. Bhd. and FGV Agri Services in introducing solution that will reduce the use of pesticide in rice fields.

The company’s propriety WEED Solut-ioN witll be introduced to rice smallholder ecosystem through government distribution channels and open markets in Malaysia. The product is designed to reduce pesticide use by up to 50 percent, leading to cost optimisation and delivering advantageous outcomes for over 200,000 rice farmers in Malaysia. This partnership symbolizes the combined support and endeavors of the three companies in fostering a farming environment that is not only healthier and safer but also more sustainable.

The products has been supplied to Indonesian farmers and plantations since 2014. In Indonesia alone, the usage of over 3.5 million liters of this reductant has been recorded across various agricultural sectors.
