The country’s top cop has advised pro-Palestine picketers not to set up camp or any structure outside the US Embassy located along Jalan Tun Razak as this is violates the law.
The Police Chief said obstruction and violation of peace is accorded to everyone included foreign citizens in the country thus they have to also give protection to diplomats in the country.
Those setting up camps or structures are advised not to do so to avoid any confrontation with the police as they have been instructed to remove them immediately.
It is noted that pro Palestine supporters have been marching to the US Embassy every Friday after prayers and setting up protests signages and camping outside the facility causing traffic jams and obstruction to passer by including embassy staffs.
