Tenaga Nasional Berhad via its solar energy subsidiary GSPARX Sdn Bhd, has formed an alliance with Trina Solar, a Chinese based company that specialises in PV research and development.
“This alliance highlights our unwavering commitment to accelerating Malaysia’s energy transition goals,” emphasized TNB President and Chief Executive Officer, Dato’ Seri Ir. Baharin Din. “Our partnership with Trina Solar is pivotal in harnessing Malaysia’s solar potential and driving us closer to achieving Net Zero 2050 through sustainable practices.”
The group has been working with Trina Solar since 2019 and will now aim enhance that relationship with other areas like technicalities and solutions for solar rooftop projects. This strategic alignment seeks to capture business opportunities across rooftop, floating, and ground-mounted solar systems.
Beyond solar initiatives, GSPARX and Trina Solar will collaborate to explore innovative smart grid solutions, including energy storage, further solidifying their commitment to cutting-edge sustainable technology.
