OCBC Urges Customers Affected By Floods To Reach Out

OCBC Bank (Malaysia) Berhad is urging all its customers – individual, microenterprise, SME, commercial and corporate –
who are adversely affected by the recent floods in the country to get in touch with the Bank if they need to discuss potential relief or restructuring measures in relation to their existing loans or financing schemes.

It said all requests will be prioritised and attended to on a case-by-case basis with a view to determining what works best for the customer. Individuals may call the Bank’s dedicated consumer hotlines.

Chief Executive Officer Mr Tan Chor Sen said the bank is committed to supporting every customer who is adversely affected by the floods and is calling on them to stay positive during these challenging times. “The floods affecting certain parts of the country have placed several people and communities in a difficult situation. As an enabler to our customers, we stand ready to help any of those adversely affected to deal with payment issues, so they are ultimately able to recover and realise their
aspirations. We urge them not to hesitate to reach out to us, knowing that help is at hand,” he said.
