MAG Moves Academy To New Campus, Unveils New Corporate Website

Malaysia Aviation Group has relocated its MAB Academy’s (MABA) to a new campus from Kelana Jaya to South Support Zone in Sepang, which commenced operations on 15 December 2023. The new MAB Academy campus is strategically situated at Malaysia Airlines’ former headquarters and has undergone significant transformation.

Spanning approximately 194,000 sq. ft., MAG said the the new academic campus is designed to reshape the traditional approach to work and education, housing state-of-the-art facilities, meeting rooms, training spaces, hot desking, auditorium, digital studio, and an open student lounge concept that serves as a multifunctional hub. MAB Academy will also be housing its own Flight Simulator Centre which will begin construction in February 2024 and is expected to be completed in early 2025. The campus will also feature a pool for safety and emergency training and other service-oriented training facilities as it looks to further enhance its position as a comprehensive one-stop aviation and hospitality centre of excellence for the region.

The academy is an Approved Training Organisation (ATO) endorsed by the Civil Aviation Authority of Malaysia (CAAM) and offers a diverse range of courses ranging from airline mandatory training, aviation services training, and digital and innovation learning which are led by its 57 experienced trainers.

In addition to the newly relocated campus, MAG is also unveiled its new corporate website in collaboration with marketing transformation solutions provider, GrowthOps, the website serves as a central hub for all corporate information pertaining to MAG and its subsidiaries, offering seamless user experience with enhanced navigation and accessibility features which works well on both desktop and mobile platforms.

With the implementation of MAG’s Target Operating Model (TOM) in 2023, the newly designed website serves as a central repository for all corporate information pertaining to MAG subsidiaries under its three main business pillars: Airlines, Loyalty & Travel Services (LTS), and Aviation Services. The Airlines portfolio includes subsidiaries Malaysia Airlines, Firefly, MASwings, and AMAL by Malaysia Airlines; Aviation Services encompasses MAB Engineering, MABkargo, AeroDarat Services, and MAB Academy, and the LTS portfolio includes Journify, Enrich, and MHholidays.
