Rohas Technic Berhad together with its consortium partner Sediabina who formed the JV for the purpose of bidding for the RTS Link Project – Package 8 have informed that they have signed the Letter of Acceptance issued by Malaysia Rapid Transit
System Sdn Bhd, a subsidiary of Mass Rapid Transit Corporation Sdn Bhd in respect of the construction and completion of Package 8 Construction and Completion of Bukit Chagar Station’s Façade for the Rapid Transit System Link Johor Bahru – Singapore Project,
Upon award of the RTS Link Project – Package 8, both will enter into a detailed joint venture agreement with the following proposed equity ratio of REI: 70% SBSB: 30%
The total contract sum for the RTS Link Project – Package 8 is RM199.8 million and is expected to be completed by 31st May 2025.
Risk factors include being subject to the normal construction risk of material price fluctuations. However, Rohas said with the combined experience and expertise of REI and SBSB in similar construction projects, these risks could be mitigated.
