Capital A Has 6 Months To Submit PN17 Exit Plans Or Could Face De-Listing

Capital A has been given an extension to submit its regularisation plan by the Bursa Malaysia Securities of up to 30 June 2024 or the company could face suspension of trading and even a possibility of delisting.

The group said Bursa had send a letter granting the extension however added the extension of time is without prejudice to the regulator’s right to proceed to suspend the trading of the listed securities of the company and to de-list the Company in the even Capital A fails to submit its regularisation plan to the regulatory authorities on or before 30 June 2024.

Also it fails to obtain the approval from any of the regulatory authorities necessary for the implementation of its regularisation plan; or if it fails to implement its regularisation plan within the time frame or extended time frame stipulated by any of the regulatory authorities.

It added if any of the above occurs, Bursa Securities shall suspend the trading of the listed securities of the company on the 6th market day after the date of notification of suspension.
