InNature the franchise holder for The Body Shop in Malaysia has stated that the situation with the appointment of administrators by The Body Shop International Limited to accelerate the restructuring of the UK business has no impact in Malaysia operation.
In a Bursa filing the group referring to the news report said the Board of InNature Berhad state that they have received confirmation from The Body Shop International that the administration process relates to the UK business only and does not impact Global Head Franchise Partners nor their operations. InNature is the Head Franchise Partner for West Malaysia, Sabah, Vietnam and Cambodia.
Based on this confirmation, the company is of the view that the administration process is not expected to have any material effect on the net assets, earnings per share and gearing of the Group for the financial year ending 31 December 2024.
