Masjid Jamek LRT Station Reopens After 1 Year, Govt Seeks RM38 Million Compensation

The Masjid Jamek and Bandaraya LRT station which has been closed for more than a year due to technical issues has been reopened and will start operations from 17 February onward.

Transport Minister Antony Loke said passengers will no longer need to commute via intercity buses as the lines will reschedule based on the timing linking to other stations accordingly.

The Government through Prasarana which manages public commuter lines in the country will be seeking compensation from the project developer of approximately RM38 million for the delay he said.
