TNB has been named 2023 most trusted corporate organisation in Malaysia according to the latest study by one of the world’s largest market research firms Ipsos Sdn Bhd.
This study ranked TNB at the top as the most trusted entity in Malaysia beating over 100 brands in a seven-month survey from April 2023. In addition, theutility giant was also recognized as the most trusted brand in the utility industry. Ipsos Malaysia in its report titled; Ipsos Trust Track 2023: The Most Trusted Corporations and Institutions in Malaysia, announced the names of the top five companies with TNB in first place, followed closely by Keretapi Tanah Melayu Berhad, Shell, Kumpulan Wang Simpanan Pejara and Petron in fifth place.
President and Chief Executive Officer of TNB, Dato’ Seri Ir. Baharin Din said “This trust and confidence cannot be bought. It comes from the community’s confidence and their stance towards TNB’s work practices and culture. Bettors are usually comfortable dealing with trusted and trusted organizations. “This is a great recognition of its meaning and hopefully this trust will translate challenges into new business opportunities for TNB, for us to excel in sustainable energy solutions for customers and the people,” he said
The survey covered more than 100 companies and institutions in Malaysia by interviewing more than 7,000 respondents who gave feedback that most companies are able to maintain the trust and confidence of customers in their respective industries. TNB was listed among the five most trusted companies in its maiden participation in the Ipsos survey in 2021.
