The Ministry of Human Resources (KESUMA) said it will lead a Multi-Ministerial Committee and Stakeholders to realise the establishment of a Commission for Gig Workers as highlighted by the Prime Minister during his Bumiputera Entrepreneurs speech.
The committee is to examine the terms of reference for the establishment of the commission’s function, legal, financial and membership aspects. An interim report will then be presented to the Cabinet within a period of three months it said.
