CBRE Named WELL Enterprise Provider Of The Year

CBRE has been named the International WELL Building Institute WELL Enterprise Provider of the Year, based on its leadership in creating workplaces that support the well-being of people.

The IWBI celebrates organizations and individuals that are making outstanding strides in health, well- being, and equity. CBRE’s global team of more than 600 sustainability specialists, including 85 who are WELL accredited, has facilitated WELL certifications for more than 21 million square feet on behalf of its clients as well as CBRE’s own operations. This includes CBRE’s Downtown Los Angeles office, which was the first building in the world to become WELL Certified in 2013.

“Creating a sustainable workplace goes beyond environmental initiatives, it also includes prioritizing the wellness of employees. The well-being of employees is a fundamental aspect of sustainability, as it contributes to their overall happiness, productivity, and longevity within the organization. By promoting wellness in the workplace, we not only foster a healthier workforce but also create a sustainable and thriving work environment that can withstand the challenges of the future,” said David Fogarty, Head of Sustainability and ESG Consulting Services, Singapore & Southeast Asia, for CBRE.

“CBRE is proud to be the driver for more thoughtful and healthy workplaces in Asia Pacific region. Joining the Enterprise Provider programme has opened more opportunities for CBRE to integrate our resources globally and collaborate more closely with IWBI,” said Jie Min Ong, Wellbeing & Circular Economy Lead, Singapore & Southeast Asia, for CBRE.
